Its going to sound weird but I am totally serious... I heard that farting burns calories.... so if you can't loose weight anyother way, you could always stay home and try that and see what happens.... or if you are very obese, you could just cut your calorie intake down. Running helps too because even if you run for just 30 minutes at a VERY slow pace, you are still burning calories.

Don't eat anything high in fat or calories. If you want to loose one pound, you need to get rid of water from your body. You could exercise for at least 20-30 minutes to get your heart rate up, but you need to sweat and get loose water that way. Look up on line diahertics (which are things that make you get rid of water) and yes its the root word for diaherria, but think about it, that's what it is, mostly water. Stay away from food high in sodium/salt, that makes you retain water. good luck.

What is so different than starving yourself for one day? There's basically no difference. Again, it's dangerous in that one day you are doing it. Or you eat, and barf it up.

Any of these are the same thing. They are dangerous. Don't do these. Lose a pound or two in a week instead.

losing 1 pound per day for the average person is too fast. most should lose no more than 2-3 pounds per week to be safe.
