To see the light is not literal. It doesn't mean visible light. It means see that Jesus is your savior. Kinda like open up your soul and heart to God and see that Jesus is the only way to heaven. And the way things are on earth aren't they way they are in hell or heaven. Fire may not be light in hell. It might just be pain.

Heres a cool trivia. You know how the hotter the fire burns it turns different colors? Well, scientific research has found that the hottest color of fire ever recorded burns black or clear. No light at all. Look it up. Beat that.

John Milton, in his masterpiece, _Paradise Lost_, described the incandescence produced by the flames in Hell as "darkness visible" rather than true light.
I don't believe it literally, but it makes for some awesome reading.

Light and Darkness cannot coexist in the same place... we arent talking light as in candles/fire/lightbulbs... we are talking about the Light of Christ... vs the darkness of life without Him

If you want eternal torment...where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, so be it. Besides, the Scriptures does not say there is light in hell but fire that burns forever...it does say there is darkness and outer darkness...
Hmmm...you might want to give that some thought.

would that be the type of light you would want,for me i think the sunlight,moonlight,stars or something like that i would prefer and the temperature would be alot less warm,afraid its to hot for me im not going
