All believers are a part of the Body of Christ, or the universal Church.

Denominations and different churches are just ways for Christians to "agree to disagree". Really, they just make sure that we're not fighting over small issues (communion, baptism, dress codes, worship method) so we can be a part of the bigger picture (loving God, loving eachother). If we were all in the same church, we'd fight about the little things and never get anything done.

As long as your church/denomination focuses on loving God and loving others, you'll be okay.

Yes. There are several places in the New Testament that it warns about following false doctrine.

Read your Bible and Pray to be led into all truth so you can find God's true church and true teachings. Revelation 12:17 describes God's people of the last days as keeping the commandments and having the testimony of Jesus.

As you've probably noticed from reading Y!A there are many different beliefs, but only one is true. I'm praying you'll search for truth.

It does, because not all churches teach and preach the Bible. Many churches teach heresy and things that are contrary to the Word of God.
1Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Some teach salvation by works instead of salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's what you believe. Thats why we have free will. To choose what we want to believe. I mean, if you are talking about the difference between mormon and muslim, yes, very much so. But between Baptist and New life Methodist, absolutely not. I mean, they all believe different doctrine, but as long as they do not interfere with what is important to you. Never negotiate your morals.

yes and no . we must not fall prey to some teachings such as those of the untied church of Canada. the other ones that want gays to be leaders and that think all sin is just fine please come to our church and lead us .
you have to pick wisely . the christian reformed church seems like a good one . the roman catholic church seems good .
see organizations like the former church that is now just calling its self a church the united church of Canada is really just a place were Satan has lead the ministers to pride of intellect. they use this not to lead to Christ but to pretend to out smart god.
did you know that one moderator of the uc of Canada said he didn't even believe that Christ was the son of god. he was allowed to continue on with his term
my own brother is a united church minister. once my mother died i said i would not step foot in there again except for a funeral of my brother. i will keep this promise to myself . sad but Satan does have his ways of misleading the smartest of the smart more easily then the ones who seek less knowledge and praise for there knowledge and more faith . such is the war.

Definetly not, as long as you are going to a church that is Christ led and Biblically accurate. Denominations and relgions are dumb. It's about a relationship with Christ Jesus and your obediance to His word. So pray about it, and let God show you what's right and what is wrong. =]

I KNOW IT DON'T MATTER OF FACT DENOMINATION HAS NOW TURNED INTO IDOLS. pEOPLE ARE MORE INTERESTED THAT THEY ATTEND A BAPTIST, LUTHERAN, METHODIST CHURCH, THAN THE GOD THEY SHOULD BE LIVING FOR.

Yes. If you belong to any religious denomination, you are just promoting superstition. There are no gods.
