Welcome to the CRIMINAL Justice System.... Yes, you're going to have to find a lawyer to get all this straightened out. It's going to cost many hundreds probably upwards of a thousand. After you get the original charge cleared up, then you'll have to get it expunged from your record: it doesn't just 'go away'. It's also going to take months because YOUR time means nothing to them so forget about your job: the position will be filled. Good luck.

Actually if you are willing to spend a couple of hours at the court house you can get a court date set up in norally under a month its called and expungement hearing simply go to your court house and ask to fill out an expungment hearing request it might cost 50-100 dollars then when you get to court you may have to pay some court costs shouldnt cost more than 200 dollars total but it takes about 2 months to get your records sealed from the time the judge seals them so total of 3 months and 200 dollars good luck

Well if you weren't charged and found guilty, then you shouldn't have a felony charge on your record. Contact the lawyer and see what steps need to be taken to have your record cleared of this. Also obtain proof for your employer that this charge was dropped.
