What is it about their beliefs that make them the minority?

They don't accept some of the original Christian creeds about who Jesus really was. Orthodox, Catholic and Protestants accept that Jesus was fully God and fully Man in a mysterious syncretism that allows Him to fully bear the punishment for sin on our account and to fully forgive us as God. Coptic and other ORiental orthodox believe in a similar principle but they would describe Jesus as God wrapped in human flesh. The term for their belief is monophysitism. My sister is a Coptic though and I still consider her a Christian sister (spiritual and blood sister).
