You tell me. Why do men pretend they are interested in you and then when you show the least bit of interest in them they back off? What the heck dude!?

because regardless of what men say they are confusing... my boyfriend and i were talking about this the other day and we both think that they act like they arent until they kinda get the vibe that you are interested in them... they dont like rejection... not that we do either... but life does not make sense sometimes...

That,s why I look for real attraction based on genuine honest emotions, not some mating game ritual that becomes a political power game. If the attraction is real on both sides, there.s never any reason to play around doing the feather dance. I am not a mind reader and I can only go along with whatever attitude is displayed, so I tend to reign in immediately if I get any negative response -I am not expecting an easy ride but I sincerely believe a woman has the right to choose and should be refined and polite enough to consider my feelings as well. Not all men are armour-plated Lothario fuelled by challenges or a need to conquer or a desire for quick thrills at any cost.

Sometimes you just pretend just to see where it goes and sometimes pretending actually becomes real or some guys like the challenge of a woman who is not interested but once they are the challenge is gone.I know alot of guys like this don't sweat it not every guy is like that.

hahaha...thats sounds similar to me...lol...umm i think many guys are shy especially if he is not experienced with past relationships.
In other cases though it may be because the guy just came off a relationship and doesnt want to start anything too soon. Also maybe the guy is scared to start a relationship and would just want to be friends....haha ok maybe you will get a kick out of my last excuse...."because the guy is gay"....lol. hope this helps...bye

they're idiots..sometimes they are shy though...that's the case with my boyfriend..but he still made the effort..and has had me for 2 yrs! Good luck
