What if someone sat you down and showed you that your religious faith was really a psychological response to some insecurities, and then they showed you how evolution was a valid science, and then they showed you historical evidence that the Bible was erroneous and not a reliable source for being "God's Word" and then they Showed you scientific evidence that showed the Bible couldn't be true and then they explained how that religious belief in the supernatural was philosophically unworkable and then they showed you all the documents in the vatican that illustrated how the early church literally fabricated the scriptures and assembled them with the express purpose of creating a religion so that the church could be a world political power (like the vatican is) and then they showed you the documents and then they showed you how Jesus Hidden Tomb was real and that Jesus was only a man.

Would this affect your faith?

No. If he were, he'd be either on FOX, or there'd be a conspiracy site with pictures of him doing his good deeds. And no, it would not effect my faith. I'd remain an adament athiest reverand spreading the Satanic word of corporealness.

Wow, you have won the record for the longest sentence ever written. It does sound impressive, but not convincing. You see, many have tried and failed to prove the bible erroneous and they have failed in everything else as well. There are speculations and nothing more. That's because God gave them the brains to think, but He also knew they would not succeed because God is real and He IS the truth. There is therefore no discussion about what if's. There aren't any, so why should I even worry about it. If you built your faith on the rock, you will not crumble.
By the way, the vatican or the catholic church are not biblical, nor are any other religions who take away from the Word of God and add to it or change it. You simply have to come back to the One and read His word. Forget the rituals and rules. Jesus said, that they interfere with our faith and they do indeed.

I can believe the Vatican makes stuff up...

But saying that evolution is a valid science when it's a theory...well, you lost me before the first comma in that very long sentence. But nice try.

Jesus saves, forgives and lives!

BTW, if by some miracle, I am wrong...then I have lost nothing. I have loved the living God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength...and I've loved others as Jesus loves me.

However...if I'm right...then I get to spend eternity with my Creator. Either way...I've won.

What about you...what have you won?

Blessings to you John. You make some interesting points. However, I have a question. Every single thing on this earth has a maker, cars, clothing, computers, etc. But the world spontaneously appeared. Scientist can't even figure out everything, if He (God) were not true these things would be easy to figure out.....right?! I could sit and try to explain Jesus all day, and I would and will and have. But, it wasn't until I stop talking and trying to find excuses and read that God began to reveal the things to me.

My faith in creation is irrelevant to the fabrication of scripture the fact that Jesus was a man, or the fact of evolution. Jesus teachings are relevant to living a healthy life as are many of the great teachers of the past. long live Johny Galt (just a man)

YES! He is VERY ALIVE! How alive??? How about forever!!!

Now, about that Cameron movie. Don't believe it. They are anti-Christian for good reasons.

If they can get rid of Christianity beginning from schools, children, parents, etc., it will no longer be a threat to them in the form of morals.

They (Hollow Wood) can now pursue their sick immorality in the form of incest, adultery, pediophile, homosexuality, beastiality, rape, etc. The only thing holding them back is YOU and CHRISTIANITY.

Don't fall for this man's SCAM on you. He will degrade you because he thinks all human are SCUM and deserve no better than the aforementioned immorals. He is a evil and wicked man when you see what he is REALLY doing.

No.

Read "Rational Spirituality" available on the Dhaxem website, and you will see, why not.

My belief accommodates all the points that you mention, is entirely clear and logical and explains Jesus in a way that would survive any fair intellectual scrutiny.

- You give the vatican far too much credit.

- The facts of the tomb "discovery" as it relates to Jesus are wrong....check your historical data.
