You gotta use more than straightening shampoo and conditoner!
After you get out of the shower, spray Infusium 23 leave-in conditioner into you hair and spread it around with your hands. Then squeeze a dollop of Loreal Hot Straight into your palm and rub your hands together. Run it evenly through your hair.
Let your hair air dry or use a blow dryer.
Pin your hair up in sections and straighten each section with a flat iron (I luv the Solia). If you pin it in sections, you'll be able to straighten the hair underneath.
P.S.-->I used to cringe at the idea of putting stuff in my hair and not rinsing it out. But these products are great. You won't even know they're in your hair---except your hair will be straighter and much less frizzy!

Hey,
This is Monique,
I used to have the same thick, really big kind of hair,
1.) Use Fructis Shampoo, (apply to all parts of the scab)
2.) Then wait for 3 min. until washing it.
3.) Now, come your hair (while it's still wet)
4.) Dry it with a towel (make it dry, but a little wet)
5.) Then, put a head scarf over your hair overnight (make it really tight)

I just started using straighten-up sun silk shampoo and conditioner everynight and then in the morning i straighten it! But you have to lean over the tub and run the water adn put your head under the faucet adn shampoo and condition it! Then i towel dry it and brush it down a little and when i wake up i straighten it with my Chi ! It works really good for all types of hair! and umm if your the one who likes to blow dry your hair, after you blow dry it (after you washed it) take the straightner to it! you dont have to make it fully straight, juss go over it once, and when you wake up go through it like once and there you go!!

My barber / stylist hubby told me the only way to go about this is to go to a salon that specializes in straightening hair, such as those that do african american hair, which is naturally never supposed to be straight. So, this is what I am saving to go do to straighten my hair. It's better than wasting money on straightening shampoos that don't work or a straightener which only works for a few hours. Good luck!!!

i use a chi straightner! my hair is really curly and i use it and then it straightens really fast. it lasts all day and it makes your hair really shiny! when you straighten your hair, clip sections of it up and it works a lot better!
good luck!
