dont worry!! i think if you really dislike your blonde streaks then go ahead with the lowlights but 2 dying treatments so close together could really reck your hair...your blonde will probably start to fade in about 3 weeks & gradually darken from there on depending on how good the dye was used. Try washing it with a shampoo not formulated for "dyed blonde hair" as this will just keep it light, washing your hair everyday will also help with toning down the blonde streaks but make sure to give your hair a rest from the washing for a day a week or it will be come really dry. If you go ahead with the lowlights then ask your hairdresser what the best conditioning treatments are to help keep your hair healthy. When i first dyed my hair really blonde i hated it...was just the shock of having such a different hair colour but after a couple of days i loved it! i would say keep with the blonde for a couple of weeks and make up your mind after that...your hair will deffinitely not fall out from 2 dying sessions in the space of 2 weeks, it will damage it however but using intense conditioners and hot oils will help keep it healthy.

don't worry i have done the same thing before with blonde hair. first don't get it dyed again because if it is dyed to often around the same time you will get major damage and could get hair loss. If i were you let it come back eventually which may take a while so in the mean time use a john Frieda shampoo and conditioner for dark brown which will darken your hair about 2 to 3 shades after a couple weeks and use a the bed head conditioner for dumb blonde so your hair stay moisturized and doesn't dry out from the dye. hope this helps!

I would go back & have her add the low-lights or, tone the hightlights to a darker shade....like maybe a honey. Since the highlights are lighter than you wanted, they won't fade to look good. Plus, if you go back soon, they should fix it for no charge. It's really not worth worrying about any more :)

Why don't you just get the lady to dye it back to a dirty blonde colour, and the highlights that are platinum will still show through. That way you don't have to get a million more chemicals put on your hair.

you'll be fine if she adds lowlights and a diff. toner. she's a professional so most likely she'll use what's called a demi-permanent color to do those. demi-permanent means deposit-only, and unlike lighteners and some permanent colors, they are not at all damaging. in fact, most demi-permanent colors actually HELP condition the hair. i say go for it. mention the term demi-permanent to your stylist and she'll know what you mean. in my salon we use redkin shades eq, and matrix colorsync

you can get low-lights right away with a demi-permanent of low volume permanent

colour? What would journey your facial features extra? you need to get it professionally performed pondering the truth that its bleach blonde, conditioner it two times an afternoon so the hair doesn't fall off your head XP

i would probably go with what your stylist recommends. it sounds like she knows what she is talking about (coming from a licensed hairstylist). i dont always say that either. but in your situation she sounds educated enough to fix what u r not liking about your hair.
