We are writing a letter to Senior's parents asking them for photos of their children for our Prom. How should I begin the letter?????????????

Start out the letter with "Dear Parents"

Dear Mr. and Mrs.

or

Dear Sir or Madam

Try to avoid: To whom it may concern.

" I am a member of the Prom Committe of the ____________ school's class of ___. As part of the Prom acitivites we are displaying photographs of this year's graduating class. We would very much appreciate if you would provide photographs of your son/daughter for us to include in the activities. If the photographs are originals we will return them to you after the Prom."

We are compiling a slideshow (?) of our Senior class for the prom. If you would like to share some current or childhood photos of your son or daughter, please send them to us at [email] or [physical address] and we will return those mailed via USPS.
