My brother has the same problem. Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream seems to help. You can buy it online.

When you wash your hair, use conditioner. They sell two in one shampoo and conditioners. This will help fight frizz and "poof" Also brush your hair in the shower with a comb, this will detangle it.

Due to your shorter wavy/curly style, your hair is more inclined to be "poofy" because when people have long hair, the hair is weighed down.

After your shower, do not towel dry it completely just pat dry if there is a lot of water. Then brush it back with a comb apply a pea size of conditioner, with about a quarter size gel or mousse to your hair, comb again and scrunch your hair and allow for it to dry naturally.

Sometimes, curly/poofy hair is actually easier to handle when its *longer*! The extra weight will pull the hair down flatter.

Infusium 23 Leave-in Conditioner rocks.
When you get out of the shower, pull your hair straight down using a boar-bristle brush and use a blow dryer.

If this doesn't work for you--maybe consider a flat iron.

once you bathe, attempt making use of a much less-than-commonly used volume of shampoo because of fact shampoo dries out, and damages your hair making all of it poofy! verify to apply various conditioner quite on the ends of your hair. verify to brush your hair making use of a good sized-toothed comb (by no potential use a broom!) on an analogous time as you have conditioner on your hair. Rinse with chilly water to maintain the frizzies down. After this factor do not comb it in any respect because of fact combing is what makes it poofy! upload some depart in creme (jointly with sunsilk attractive curls or anti-poof) and likewise upload a tiny little bit of gel. whilst your hair dries, you will choose a surprising head of curls! you additionally must get your hair decrease in layers, and ask the salon person to skinny your hair out. by no potential use a straightner because of fact straightners harm your hair inflicting extra poofies. Be happy with your curls! :)

Buy this new shampoo out now called "None of Your Frizziness" by Herbal Essence. It comes in an orange bottle. I have naturally curly/wavy hair also but I like my hair that way. If I want it straight, I use the shampoo I just told you about and it comes out straight.

My boyfriend has blonde hair too- and he runs into the same problem. I spray a combination of leave-in-conditioner and hairspray in my hands, and run them through his hair to tame his flyaways. Works all the time.
