Now this is a hard on Because I have had a cold a while back it it lasted about 21/2 months. I went to the doctor and he said you cannot have a cold more then 2 weeks unless you get different one because your body has worked up to fight against the cold you had.

No, once you develope the anti-bodies towards the cold, and are rid of it, the same exact cold does not come back...however, theres like 1000000 different kinds of colds out there, so its not like you can be immune to all of them ever

If it's the same cold, then no, it's impossible. But every year the viruses for the influenza mutate at a slow rate, meaning every cold will be of different "shapes", so to speak. But in this case, if it's the exact same, then there will all ready be memory cells to quickly kill it off.

You can get the cold twice. Just like with the flu and any other sickness. The body may build an immunity, but if your immune system somehow goes down, you are still susceptible to that illness.

nope. your boy develops antibodies to each virus. however the common cold comes in many flavors. depending on the source you read there are between a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand variations on the cold virus. this variation accounts for all the various symptoms, etc.

You can't. However there are billions of different colds out there. You can only get one once. Once its out of your system you will be immune to that kind of cold.

You can never get the same cold twice because every body is different and every body gets different colds and flus than another person.
