Because they are ignorant. Hair is hair. People say its better if its closer to like a white person's hair. Its years of brainwash and ignorance. And I can say it because I am black.

Nappy Unmanageable Hair. Basically Everyone Always Wants Someone Else's Hair. No One's Ever Happy With What They Have. For Years I Hated My Hair, But I Always Wore Braids Because Of Sports. After I Got To College I Started Wearing My Hair Down And I Love It! So It Just Depends On Who You're Talking To.

I dont call curly hair good hair. And last time I checked, I have been black for about 20 years. Get your facts straight and dont come at people with meaningless assumptions just because you met someone that said that.

for so many years, our hair has been considered hard to deal with, and most of the images on the screen is silky hair, it is really no puzzle to figure this one out. I am not my hair
