I wish I could say yes but I can't. I have the same problem as you. I have taken Hydroxyzine (Aderax) to control the urges almost my whole life.

Maybe you have some mild unknown food allergy. My sister gets hives from being around peanuts. Like we knew she was allergic to eating them but, she breaks out in hives whenever shes in a room with it too. Maybe there is something in your house that you are mildly allergic to.

If you get hives that means you are really allergic to something. Maybe its something you have eaten, or something in your house. But you should go to the doctors soon to find out. I got hives when i had nuts, and i didn't kno i was allergic.

2 possible reasons.....One you could be allergic to something
two stress sometimes causes hives.
Seek a Dr. advice... there are medications they can give you to help alleviate the symptoms.....but they won't eliminate the problem.

8 years? Have you thought about consulting a physician yet?? A doctor might know.. just a thought.
Isn't it usually a food allergy that causes it? It would probably help to find out what it is.
