Great matchup, and the blogbaba is going to shock a lot of people, but Conn was simply too big for Ray. Ray didn't fare to well at light heavy, even though he was the best middleweight, in my opinon of all time. Conn was gifted, and even stiffer competition that the light heavy titlist (Joey Maxim) Ray lost to.

At 160 lbs Ray Robinson would have KOed Conn, but 15 lbs. is simply too much to over come agaist another of the Greats. Ray's walk around weight was around 155 in his prime, Billy's was closer to 200, too much of a size advantage to overcome. A Great big man, beats a Great little man in this one.

Billy Conn.
