Get him a gift certificate to his favorite restaurant..
It probably wont pay the entire bill.. but remember
it's the thought that counts.

Here is something I gave my dad before he died (he was 53 when he past away) and he loved it. I took pics of me and my brother/sisters that were taken while we grew up until now and put them into a "movie" on dvd for him (you can also make a slideshow but the movie format was better b/c I was able to zoom in and out and add motion to the pictures). I put it to music that was special. Watching the different pics on the tv along with the music put such a smile on his face...he loved it. He knew it was something that came from the heart. I used the songs butterfly kisses and let them be little ... but you can choose any song that you think would best fit for you and your dad!

Well... Has he been a good dad? If so you might want to thank him for that. Some people are not so fortunate to have good fathers. I think if he were my dad, and I wanted to make him feel special, I would take him to dinner (someplace he likes) or a movie (that he would enjoy). Often spending time with someone you care about is the best gift.

I know that my husband and other men love gadgets. Gadgets for thier car or truck or in the garage. Go to a Sears tools or auto section and you'll find all these strange little ditty's that are pretty cool. You could put together a little "grab bag" type gift. Good luck.
