A few weeks ago my post was this::

Carpel tunnel syndrome?
I know what this means, and my friends mom thinks I have it. How exactly can I tell if I have it. My hand has a wierd bump, but its not swollen. Two nights ago I had a hand type of seizure, or a nerve spasm. I woke up with my hand shaking and coudnt control it to stop. Ever since then I had a tiny bump that looked like a tiny ball in my hand, now it disapeared but i have a gap. Everytime I put my left hand over the right hand to feel it it feels all loose. Does anyoe have any idea what this coudl be?

Yes it does sound very much like it to me. I suffered from this for about six months some time ago, then it suddenly just went away! When your fingers seize up, it can be very painfull and frightening, Do go to your doctor without delay, he can at least give you some pain killers. If it becomes worse than it has been, there is a very simple operation that can be done to relieve it; but firstly get confirmation that this is indeed what you have, and `fingers crossed`
(ugh ! bad choice of words!) it may go away on it`s own. See your doctor.

Hi, I've had Carpel Tunnel Syndrome in both hands - and had the operation to releave the problem on them both! The symptoms you have mentioned could be from this, go to your Dr. they can then refer you to a neurologyst who with a few very short, simple tests check the electrical impulses travelling along your nerves. By the way, does you little finger suffer at all - because this is not usually included in the carple tunnel group of nerves.

Seek medical attention..... it sounds like CTS, but it could also be a ganglion, a swelling in the liquid filled sac between the joints. I had this many years ago, it flares up again now and again! The old fashioned remody was to hit the back of the hand with the family bible!

Main thing is to get professional advice. If you are a typist or use a keyboard a lot, wrist rests do help, and check your chair height etc. Good luck!

First do you experience pain when typing or writing?
Most hands/wrist problems are not really "Carpel Tunnel Syndrome" that's a specific kind of ailment and there are many,
Carpel symptoms are as follow, and start gradually---with frequent burning, tingling, or itching, numbness in the palm of the hand and finger's..
BUT ONE THING IS CERTAIN DO NOT MESS AROUND-IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY KING OF PAIN GET A DOCTOR TO LOOK AND DIAGNOSE..

the project is in all probability that she is putting too lots weight on her wrists because of fact the bike does not extra healthful her. i'm guessing that the bike is in simple terms too long for her top physique. after all, the 1st step is to take your daughter and her bike to a save the place somebody who knows what they're doing can inspect how the bike suits her. i've got stated many circumstances in this board that a precise equipped bike is a exhilaration and a exhilaration to holiday on an analogous time as a poorly equipped bike could nicely be torture. you have proved that impressive. Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.

hey. chat to your GP, and see if they can refer you on to someone. if it is carpel tunnel syndrome (or other things) it can be treated, maybe even fixed, so its worth getting yourself referred to someone who knows what they are talking about!

these things can be treated,so you dont need to be suffering from this. theres also some really good internet resources - just do a google search and you'll find lots of good stuff.

hope this helps!!
