cut the chicken into strips and put them on a cookie sheet. Rum them with olive oil and season with italian seasoning and a little garlic salt. If you don't have italian seasoning, basil and oregano work too. Bake for about 20 minutes at 350 and then toss them into your alfredo

You could fry them in a pan, microwave them, boil, broil, bake or do as I do when it is too cold to grill....George Forman Grill! :)
I just salt and pepper mine, sometimes I add some grill or poultry seasoning and then when they are done I slice them and mix them with the Fettuccine Alfredo.
If you want something faster then cut them up into thin strips first then just toss them in a lightly oiled skillet.
I hope this helps...I think I now know what to make for supper one day this week! Thank you!

I would put them in a shallow pan with white wine 1/3 of the way up the side of the fillet. Heat on med low (no boiling, some steam and maybe a few bubbles) until the chicken turns white all the way up the sides, then flip and give a few minutes more. Check for doneness, but don't overcook. You can season the wine if you like but I like the flavor the chicken gets from the wine and from when you mix the pieces in the sauce.

a boneless skinless chicken breast is a blank canvas. how about: poaching in marinara or salsa. Slice it and make homemade chicken strips. make some home made honey mustard sauce out of honey and brown mustard. make a stew. dice it up and make a casserole. marinate the meat in italian dressing before cooking. season with cumin and garlic and chili powder for a mexican twist. season with oregano, basil, tarragon and thyme for a sort of italian twist. Boil them in bbq sauce then finish them on the grill or under the broiler. Kosher them in saltwater overnight, then bake.

Add a little olive oil to a hot pan, add (season with all purpose seasoning or with italian seasonings) chicken and sautee.
You could also bake it at 350 degrees for 15minutes ib each side.
Boil it... it comes out really gross and bland though.
Or grill it if you have a Foreman grill or an outdoor grill.
Remember to season your chicken!!!
Good Luck! ;-)

well, you could just boil it, but that is weird tasting (really, no taste at all), so i would suggest aquiring an indoor, table top grill maybe from a neighbor, and then you can stay warm and grill and have some chicken fettuccine alfredo.

the healthiest way is to boil them and then cut them into chunks. I have found too that soaking the chicken beforehand in cold salt water helps to put the salt flavor through the chicken more effectively than just boiling it in salt water. The broth can then be used later with a little bit of boullion to make a chicken based soup. :-)
