I am trying to decide between installing a steel vs fiberglass door for my entry door. Also, I only have a little 3 bedroom ranch, not very big at all so I do not want to put something up that will not look good. Would a door with a 3/4 oval glass be ok on that type of house?

Fiberglass doors are superior to steel doors in every way. They offer a higher "R" value, which means they insulate better. Most manufacturers also offer a variety of styles. You can choose between stainable fiberglass that look identical to stained wood doors or paintable that look more like their steel competitors. Steel doors are cheaper, but there is a reason for that--they are inferior.

Steel can dent. Fiberglass will not.
