In effect, they take up two seats for themselves, crowded bus or not. They watch you dead in your face while you stand in front of them, holding on for dear life while their precious knock-off Gucci bag rides in style in the window seat. What is up with that?!

People like that drive me nuts! I will simply say "excuse me" so they will have to move to let me in, a few times people have looked at me like F you, but If they don't let me in I will continue to say Excuse Me! until they move. Bottom line is,
Empty seat = My seat

I'm going to honest with you. I rode the bus for many years and I have had to sit next to the weirdest people... people who stink, who talk incessently, people who hit on me non-stop for an entire hour-long ride, etc. So, I tend to sit in the isle seat and wait for the right person to need a seat and meanwhile ignore the ones that look like they are going to annoy me or give me a hard time. I know that you can't always judge a book by it's cover, but one the bus I have been 99% correct in my assumptions and if you are a woman, I would most likey move over for you. It's the guys that freak me out. In fact, I have stood rather than sit down next to some nasty guy that wanted me to sit next to him just a little too much, if you know what I mean. Afterall, I've been followed off the bus by freaky guys and it's scary. It was worth me sounding like a prude by saying all this, cuz I am certainly not. I just watch my back and don't want to have to talk to anyone I want to.

no, some people like to sit by the aisle because they get clostrophobic.
If you book a flight on the internet you can often select an aisle seat for this very reason. Just ask them to move so you can sit down by the window.

Scientific studies show that people with Gucci bags are more likely to be megalomaniacs that people with bags from Sears.

It is a pain. At least they can either move over or get up to let some one else sit at the window. I usually move over if I know someone wants to sit down.

I don't know where they do this but not where I live. Riding a bus. That is the problem. The whole bus thing sucks. Get a car.

All I can say is that when it happens to me, I just say.. "Excuse me please! And then I give a cheesey smile and push my way into the window seat. The expression is priceless everytime.

Do you even know what MEGALOMANIAC means?

Look it up before asking questions.

And no, the bus sucks and it sucks even more when you have to sit next to someone who constantly talks, smells or makes assumptions about Megalomaniacs, like you.
