Seafood is of course an easy answer. Alternatively you could go with a bean burrito or a hummus sandwich. I've had both of those lately. The bean burrito was pretty good and I had it with a spicy hotsauce. Another thing I do is substitute a hearty power smoothie, that fills you up big time and has no meat obviously. You could go with an omelet also which is kind of fun.

Technically, you in reality could abstain from meat on Fridays for the duration of Lent. once you're giving up meat all jointly, more suitable ability to ya! i visit understand your project along with your mom inspite of the truth that. Mine became an identical way lol. quite of giving up meat, why no longer do a touch different type of penance? Spend 10 - 15 minutes in prayer on a on a daily basis foundation or something like that.

Egg salad
vegetable soup
tomato soup
meatless spaghetti
fettuccine Alfredo (meatless)

I make curry which is a Thai dish, you just buy the curry paste( I like Thai kitchen brand), and there is a recipe on the bottle. It's very good. coconut milk, fish sauce, veggies and you eat it over rice or pasta. (I personally add seafood to mine)

Of course there is the functional but not epicurean peanut butter sandwich also.

Big salad with cheese and eggs, macaroni and cheese, you could get creative and use tofu or TVP (texturized vegetable protein) as meat alternative.
