I would consult his parents, your aunt and uncle, explain to them the situation and then talk to your parents about it also. If he tries to come at you again then even though you truly love him you do need to report to the authorities, even if he is your family, not only will it teach him a lesson, but it will stop him from hurting others.

If you have scars...that's assault! I suggest you report this guy and let the law fight for you. It doesn't matter if he's your cuzz or not... Also, the abuse shows he is no longer your "friend". When someone hits hard enough to make a scar, if hit in certain places it could kill you. NO JOKE!
