We believed that there were nine planets and God sent His Son to planet earth. Probabily there are some good reasons behind it. Please focus on the creation of this world, rather than scientific theory.

The Hebrew word "Mercy" has many different translations. One significant interpretation is "To stoop" or 'to bend yourself down'. Imagine a baby is learning to walk and falls. Well the Dad then needs to “Stoop” down to help his child up. So, when we’re filthy with sin, God is bending down to give us gifts so that we can obtain his plan. Jesus (God within the Trinity) is the greatest gift of all --- God 'Bending Down" to our level for our salvation.

well God may have actually made a mistake. He created Adam and Eve, then allowed the serpent to come into being. He kkew what would happen, sinse he is all knowing.things got out of hand, and snow balled. He had to use a great flood to wipe the slate clean.
After the ark landed, and humanity had a fresh start, things went fowl again.
Jesus was the solution, so God could redem all that would beleive in his son.
He know the clicks here on earth, and also knew some would beleive, and some would not

Lets see I think you want to focus on the theological part of this argument so....

God sent his only son to Earth because he knew there were no other humans in the solar system. Granted he could have sent him to Io where there is a slim chance of life or he could have sent him to Mars a few million years back, where there may have been bacteria or rather might be on Io.

What would be the point though to sending him to another planet?

let me put this in terms everyone can understand. when we got seperated from God by listening to the devil, we got off track spiritually. we use to be able to be immortal, use to be able to have the ability to move objects with our mind, travel at the speed of thought, and not experience any pain. yes we could feel but anyways, God knew that the only way for us to get back on track is the send his son, his holy and pure son, (the first creation before man) to the cross (A form of sacrifice in the roman period) to shed his own blood that we might have a chance to get back with God. I hope you understand it well enough. No human or any other creation was pure enough except for Jesus. Others explain it biblically, I explained in laymen terms. But still the same thing.

Because this is the planet with the people on it. Why would God send his son to Neptune? I'm sure Jesus has seen all the planets, but he came to save this world. He came to save people. Are you being sarcastic? Oh well, if you are, haha, if you're not, Jesus loves you and everyone on this planet, and if we would just trust him and follow him, we would be saved from our sins and Hell. Trusting and following him won't be easy, but will be worth while in the long run. God bless.
For gilda-whatever, Jesus is a part of God, God was and is not lazy, Jesus is God in human form.

Because it was on planet earth that God chose to pick one man to be the father of a nation whose seed will be greater in number than the sands of the seashore. That nation He declared to be His own people.

It was the only planet with sinners on it.

The creation of this world IS scientific theory. If God was going to send His son somewhere, where else would he send him? To chat with ice rocks on Pluto?

God sent his son to us to show us how to live. He had to show us how to love one another and care about others and not just ourselves. He had to bring the knowledge of what God wanted for his creation and how we (his creation) can reach the goals that were set for us. He also sent his son to us in order for him to die for us. The shedding of Jesus' blood washed away our sins with forgiveness and provided us the way to eternal salvation!
