My back gum is swelling a lot, and it hurts to bite down. It is really swollen, and is like huge compared to the other side, and it is only this one side. Do you think they are wisdom teeth?

my wisdom teeth came in at all different times . one at a time. and yes they hurt bad. so dont make a big deal out of it now,, cuz once it grows all the way it doesnt hurt.... (until you get them pulled out :)

How old are you? I am 26 and don't have all of my wisdom teeth in yet. I have 1 that is in all the way and it hurt just like you are decribing. My friend is an oral surgeon and says to wait for ALL of them to be at least poking out of the skin and them get them all pulled at once
