My family are moving to Australia do you think i would be able to carry on my study over there when we move or would it be in my interest to complete it here in the UK before we move.

G'day,

I would strongly suggest that you start checking the university that offer civil engineering in the city you are moving into (unfortunately you did not specify one). When you do, contact them and give them your educational background and see if you can transfer the units you have already done, so you do not have to start from the first year again.

I would finish your HNC first, then you will have aleast a full cert to go to OZ with, but its the right choice of career to go out there with, as they are seeking alot of engineers and Technicians at the moment. so when you out there you might be able to do further education via dat release, takes longer to get a degree but you'll have stacks of experience.
