I've heard to drink a glass of wine or even two a day with dinner (or whichever meal) is good for you and a detoxifying agent, but how can this be? I mean, having a glass of wine every single day for a number of years would not be good for your liver, would it? I am just wondering if this is true about wine and how if alcohol in general is not good for your liver or your blood pressure.

Have a small glass then. The French drink lots of wine, and I've heard that they don't have many problems with their hearts, comparing to the rest of the world.

The antioxidants in wine are good for you, especially red wine. The alcohol, not so good for you. Moderation is the key.
