Ok, I'll try to keep this as short as possible:
I'm 14 in eighth grade, there is this boy I like and everyone thinks he likes me and i really do like him, but am VERY hesitant to inform him. Anyways, I asked my best friend to ask her guy friend to ask the boy I like who he likes. Well, rather than ASKING the boy I like, this boy TOLD him I like him yesterday. Later at lunch, I kept catching him looking at me, and earlier today too. Then my other friend approached the boy I like today, and asked him if he knew I liked him, he said yes. Then she asked if he cared and he turned SO red, and he shrugged. What does this mean? I'm completely LOST, but your opinions please, and ideas on what I should do? Thank you!

It is obvious that this young man is embarrassed by all of this new-found attention, and it could be very likely that he likes you too. Otherwise, when your friend asked if he cared, he probably would have said no. It might be best if you asked him if you could sit together at lunch and maybe start to get to know each other.
Many times, kids will use this scenario to tease or make fun of others. It would be nice of you to personally let this young man know you are interested so he doesn't interpret the messages of your friends in the wrong manner.

sweety thats so cute..well that means he likes u of course..but jus becareful..there are sum boys dat fall out of liking gurls quik once they start talkin to other gurls..so i would suggest u step up to him n tell him hi or wasup or sumthin dont lose ur chance..go for it..i know for a fact a guy wont go straight at it on a conversation sayin he likes u..talk to each other more n more as friends see if u got stuff in common..he should be the one to ask u out..trust me..flirting too is a good idea..good luck gurl..

Oh the puppy love of Grade school......He likes you too, but doesn't want his friends harrassing him about it. There's the whole thing of being macho when a guy is that age. Give him a day or two, or give him your phone number that usually helps : -)

omg, such a cool love story. coming from another 8th grader, this guy totally likes you. hes just too much of a boy to admit it! guys value their ego's a lot. but what you need to do is talk to him! stop being a bit**!! in plus, this looks like it could be a nice relationship.
