Sometimes new trauma, deep decay or a loose, cracked or broken filling can cause new infection in your tooth. Endodontic surgery may be able to save the tooth. They usually do a procedure called a apicoectomy or root resection.A small incison is made in the gum tissue near the tooth to expose the bone and infected tissue. The infected tissue is removed and the tip of the root is also removed.Sometimes a small filling is placed to seal the root canal. The bubble on your gum is called a fistula. It is the result of a failed root canal.

Well if you have already had a root canal there is probably no point in keeping the tooth. Do salt water rinses until the abscess subsides then I would have it pulled so it doesn't give you any more problems. Costs about a hundred or less to have it pulled at a dental surgeons office. More if you want knocked out.

well an abscess is an infection you will need to go to the dentist to get the proper antibiotic to cure the infection and then they will fix the problem. Im not exactly sure how much it will cost it all depends on the dentist and what kind of treatment you will need I personally would estimate around 5-6 hundred dollars but i may be wrong. good luck

You should go to the dentist. You don't want to risk a major infection from popping it on your own. He will probably give you a prescription for something to clear up the abscess.
