Be kind and loving. . I have helped potty train several little boys and its always a good idea to hold off on drinks about 1-2 hours before bedtime. If its not too cold, try dressing him in just his pajama top and let him play bare bottom about an hour before bed. Keep an eye on him and when it seem like he may want to pee, take him into the bathroom. You can make it fun the both of you for him putting a few cheerios in the toilet and have him aim when he tinkles. Its a cute way to get the boy interested in using the toilet and to empty his bladder before bedtime.

Since the little boy is probably still wearing diapers, be sure to change him frequently to keep him fresh and dry. When a diapered child is all bundled up for the cold winter weather, diaper changes are sometimes less frequent and diaper rash can occur.

This is an easy one, and you need patience. Take him to the store and let him pick out his own underwear. Put them on him and remind him he is a big boy now and has to use the potty. I guarantee the first time he wets himself, he will hate it. It works well, and you might have to clean up a little after him ( I recommend Resolve carpet cleaner). I did this with my daughter and son. The first time they wet themselves, that was it. Hardly any accidents after. I still use a diaper on my daughter at night (she's 3) only because she is still in a crib, and will be until after we finish the upstairs remodeling. As soon as thats finished she will go in the toddler bed with a potty in her room. Good luck with your little one.

i was potty trained when i was 4. my mother just put one of those seats on the toilet and when i had to go potty, she watched after me....then eventually i did it on my own...and then i went to the "big girl potty"

try rewards
put food coloring into the potty or toilet and when he pees it changes color
throw a few Cheerios into the toilet and tell him to try and hit them/sink them
try sticker rewards

my brother was 2 he went into the bathroom and watched my dad and my dad was laughing .so my brother did the same thing watching my dad go no.1 and he was potty trained ever sence let him watch a male figuar it may work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
