Hi all. I have an 02 Jetta with the double din Monsoon CD/tape deck. I was wondering if I can upgrade it with a set of subwoofers because I would like more base. I would change the stereo all together, but if I do that, the controls on the steering wheel won't operate the after market stereo. I really use them alot so I want to stick with the monsoon system. Any suggestions?

yeah... you can do an Amp and sub add on to the moonsoon H/U. There are wire kit that works the same way as an RCA cable, but designed for stock H/U.

Crutchfield has those kits, but you just have to look up for VW wire kits urself, or even call them up if you can't find it. I got one for my Toyota, and the one i shown you is for nissan, just take some time to look for VW.
Moonsoon are very good H/U, keep it if you could.
