I take it you are not a valid licensed driver? hmmm, Hard to say, if you were driving on a permit was there a licensed driver with you? I think it all depends in which county and state you live in. If you are a licensed driver, then no it will not be suspended, but you will have a nice ticket to pay. If you drove erratically, then they could fine you for reckless driving and may post pone your license for another 6 months.

You'd better get an Attorney now. In NY 20 mph over the speed limit is considered a six point slammer on your driver's license and its also considered reckless driving. A judge can lift your driving privileges. A good lawyer can beat down the the ticket to a lesser charge. If your a new inexperienced driver a nasty town judge has the authority of lifting your license. Your goose is cooked and your parents insurance will double AND you'll be dropped from their policy like yesterdays news!

like everyone else said, it does depend on where you live. usually it doesn't matter whether its been only 6 months since you had your license, but they will most likely put points on your license, and after a certain amount of points then it will be suspended or even revoked.

If your lincense is going to be suspended, the cop should have told you while he had you pulled over. I would call the DMV and find out for sure. But I don't think it will get suspended.

suspended? probably not, but make sure you don't get ANY more moving violations for at least the next year...

the DMV could suspend your license for too many tickets, but not your first...

What state are you licensed in? Maybe depends on your age.

What state - better yet, give a call to your local department of motor vehicles - they know what the regulations are.
