Scan your signature, save it as a picture (jpg, tif, bmp...) and in your text editor (word) go to: insert/picture and browse for saved pic....

Well there are a few obvious ways in which one can do something like that, but one need more detail about the amount of documents, purpose etc. In either case you will first have to have a signature available in electronic form. I have done it before in MsPowerpoint with the Drawing Tool (remember to enlarge view to about 300 percent or so to better move a distance and get a finer result). Each stroke till where it turns needs to be separate. You can undo/delete a last line if it did not come out allright. You can select everything, Group it, and then you have the signature that you can copy into any document. It is then unclear what you need the scanner for. If you insist on using the scanner, then you will do the same as with a photostat maschine: put your document on the glass face and slip in a pre-maid signature on a piece of paper. If you have a scanner, however, I would presume you also have a PC. Then rather scan your document, bring it to your PC, add your electronic signature (that was pre-made) and print it.

Hi

step1:
Yes scan in your signature on a piece of paper, then this will produce a pdf or jpeg or some other form of document,

step2:
Now open the document with your signature in it, and press the button on your computer: prt sc, this will be next to insert on the right hand side of the keyboard, one key away from delete, (depneds on your screen) basically this will print screen it.

step3:
open microsoft paint and press : ctrl v (paste it in their), and just select the signature area of teh screenshot.

step4:
Now open the document where you want to put it on, i take it you want it on a letter?

and paste it in the area you want, just take your cursor there and do: ctrl V.

good luck

God bless
