It most certainly is possible, the only problem is finding someone who can do it, and can do it well. I do not know where you live, so that is a problem, but one of the things I would suggest, depending on your age and money situation, is to go to a tattoo convention. That is where you are going to find someone who can do what you want. Those are not all that popular and have to be done with a lot of care. The color is not a problem, it's getting the detail of a henna tattoo with a needle and getting it to look good. The person has to have done it before, don't be a guinea pig. I have a friend who had it done on her back while she was in Holland and it was one of the most incredible things I have seen. Absolutely beautiful. I sort of was sorry I already had something on my shoulder that would get in the way of having this done. But do some research and I'm sure you will find someone. Unfortunately I can't help you through my friend as the person who did her's has returned to Iceland and she can't find him and she wants more done.

i think it is possible. not all henna tattoos are really intiricate but i am sure if you go to a good tattoo place they could do it, i mean, i have seen some crazy detailed tattoos.

good luck, i'd be interested to know how it turns out, let me know!

Yes it is possible. I have one! Use brown ink w/ a reddish tone instead of the typical black. Make sure the design you choose looks intriquite as well - if it doesnt than it wont look like a typical "henna" tattoo. I have a Celtic peace knot on my foot and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Good luck!

You betcha! and it's possible to get a henna tattoo that looks like a real tattoo also. You can also get a real tattoo that looks like one of those wet and transfer tattoos also. You can also get the real object you want tattooed and have it surgically grafted onto your skin. Good Luck!

If you go to an experienced tattoo artist you can get anything you want. I have seen tattoos that look like actual photographs, ones that almost seem 3D, everything. You just have to find a talented artist and let them know what you want.

it is absolutely possible and sounds like it would be beautiful. you should research tattoo artists in your area and find out which ones specialize in tattoos of that style. it would be very intricate work but a lot of tattoos are.
