I heard this is child abuse, I'm 16 years old, how I can go about doing this?

That should get you put into foster care where you'll likely be beaten to death by the drunk foster father.

You probably can, but is that what you really wanna do? What was your part in this? If she does it all the time then hell yeah ya shoulda turned her in a long time ago. BUT if your now bigger, and stronger than her, she probably felt that was her only way to get you to comply. Does she generally whip you or is this something that rarely happens?
I a lot older than you and can assure you, I've had my @SS TORN OFF b/4
but now that I'm older I see the role I play in my parents actions, as I was 3x's their size.
Now that my dad's passed away I regret every time I had a hand in us fighting. He never beat me just because, I may not have understood the reason at the time, but he never came home just LQQKing for my @ss

You should seek help from your school guidance counselor. They can point you in the right direction. I think it's wrong to beat your kid with a belt, but maybe the problem with your mother can be fixed without the law getting involved too.

You go right on ahead and call the police on your mother. I guarantee you will get a bigger whipping behind bars. I would say you deserved that belt across the butt. Your parents would more than likely welcome not having to put up with your crap anymore.

Yep. Go to the hospital when it is fresh and tell them what happened.
Now, that being said, when I was a young one, that was acceptable (that was only about ten years ago for the median age). If I had it coming, it came...now it isn't that way.
