I have side swept bangs, and they get greasy throughout the day so I have to put them behind my ear. I dont use conditioner on them or my roots, so I dont know what the problem is?

Assuming you don't feel you need a stronger shampoo (i.e. one for oily hair/scalp), then I suggest you apply a toner/astringent to the front part of your scalp after you dry/style your hair.

You can start w/ any brand of witch hazel and progress to a stronger one if necessary.

Also, get blotting sheets (Clean & Clear, The Body Shop, etc.) and blot your scalp throughout the day.

BTW, head bands are in right now so you can wear one if you're tired of pushing your bangs behind your ears.

It's because your skin is oily ans the hair is touching the skin. Wash your face several times a day.
