condemning people to hell? Does the Bible say for Christians to make up their mind and decide that someone's going to hell if they don't repent? Isn't that God's department?

I don't know who specifically your referring to but your right in that Christians should NEVER condemn anyone, that is for God alone. We should simply share the story of Christ, that salvation comes only through Him, it's not our place to predetermine eternity for anyone and I apologize for any Christian who has done that to you.

We do speak for God but it is God's department to judge...........As faithful servants of God we are empowered by the Holy Spirit of God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to whom ever we can and whenever we can. This is part of our job here on earth as true saints of God. We don't condemn anybody to hell, we just warn you what will happen if you do not repent. You need spiritual help to you decide whether or not if you would prefer heaven or you would prefer hell. If you don't get the facts then you can't decide and if you can't decide, well then,.......you are SOL. anyway.

See the power of brainwashing?

A good Christian has a fellowship with God free from judging. Being Christian means being Christ like, but many of them are only that way on Sunday, Christmas and Easter.

Ask a Christian about the Crusade for Christ and they don't know what your talking about or deny the atrosities that were committed by others Christians in the name of God.

Christianity was created as behaviorial religion. It was meant to pacify believers into believing the life is that way, because "that is what God wanted for you." If kept a nations people in line and they had less chance of uprising and overthrowing a king or government, even a church.

Christians do not speak "for" God; Gods Word speaks for God, and requires no interpretation of man.
If someone has told you that they are a Christian and therefore can decide who is and is not going to hell, then you have a fake.
What scripture says is that when you fall short of the glory of God (and all do) you are able to repent and have a fresh start. Thats all.
Do you find something terribly unfair about that?

No it doesn't say that anywhere in fact it says things like: Judge not lest ye be judged, let he who is without sin cast the first stone and love one other as I have loved you and many other wonderful things that a great deal of so-called Christians seem to ignore. I'm quite sure that God can speak for himself without any "agents" working for him. Telling someone they are going to hell is very un-Christian. I will let God do the judging!

Jesus requires that we judge mens actions. It would be unwise not to. But only God can judge a man's heart. The Law of the Old Testament was given to us to show us whether we are in or out of God's will for us. Quite plainly it lets us know that there is no way we can do it all right.
And so scripture makes it clear that if we don't have Jesus covering our sin we are condemned to hell. God can't have anything unpure in His presence.

Now the idea of being condemned does not mean that it is outside of our choice. Salvation is a free gift. All you have to do is receive it and accept Jesus as Lord of your life. I mean, after all, He is God. The concept shouldn't be too hard to phathom. You don't have to be perfect to go to heaven. That is why Jesus died on the cross, because He knew there was no way we could be good enough on our own to earn a place in heaven.

But, if you don't chose to be with God on His terms you chose to be without Him and that becomes an eternal choice when you die. The fact is that there is no good thing that exist in this life or the next without God's blessing. And chosing to be without God and His blessing leaves you only one place left to go....hell. That is the only place where God has no presence what so ever. The choice is yours. I know the choice God wants you to make. He loves you and suffered greatly to make that choice possible. There is no one in His creation that He wants to see perish (eternally).

Now, as Christians it is our duty to check each other and let someone know when they are messing up. That is done out of love because we want to see each other get constantly closer to God, relationshipwise, here and now, which is an awsome gift in itself. If we are not working on removing the sins in our life that can't happen.
If as a Non-christian it is pointed out that you are going to hell if you don't receive that free gift, that is just letting you know that you are messing up ... in a much bigger way. It may not be a comfortable thing to hear but if we didn't care we wouldn't say anything.

Finally, the job of spreading that good news was given to all who follow Jesus by Him as He arose to His place at the throne of heaven. Otherwise, He would have taken His own with Him and left the rest of us to figure it out on our own.

Don't judge us too harshly if what comes out of our mouths isn't exactly what you want to hear. We didn't design the setup; God did. We just came to accept and receive it. The Truth is the Truth and there is an accountability in the end for the choices you make. Sure hope to see you there.

They do so based on, what they think, is a technicality.

Since they are only offering information, although the information suggests a certain outcome, they are not the one's doing the condemning. It's kinda like the old German "I was only following orders" ploy, which didn't work at Nueremberg either.

I condemn nobody to hell. That is Jesus part. I merely give you the facts and you make a choice for heaven or hell.

No. It is our responsibility to deliver the Gospel, not condemn. If you are feeling condemnation as a result of hearing the Gospel, then you should explore why you are feeling condemned.
