well, people have their own Idiosyncrasies that they have to deal with. My friend for instance: he liked this girl alot ok, and she dumped him for some one who was more interesting and fun then him. He, being a person that could pick up girls easily, began to steal girls from other guys then dump them afterwards, why? i dont know, but maybe that guy you were talking to has a problem of his own and couldnt find a way to cope with it but to make fun of u.
Also, this world is full of mean people because that is human nature. So, to stop the spread of hate and meanness, we should be nice to those who arent to us and just move along and forget about the harm others do to us. (its easy to be nice to those who are nice back, try being nice to those who arent!)
