They both scare the living jeepers out of me.

I spend most of my free time donating time to charities, yet it seems most muslyms and atheists hate me.

It's cold in here, Imus.

Definately muslims...

Atheists are just set in their ways and sometimes just plain arrogant.

Athiests do not hate you.

Athiests are the ones who are the ones being hated. A poll taken recently showed that people in the United States, in a post 9/11 world, trust an Athiest less than they do a Muslim. Christians believe that an athiest should either be saved or get ready to go to hell. For some reason, Christians seem to think that they have the corner on morality because they are Christians, even though they are more prejudiced than an athiest.

We don't hate you, we are scared of you!

Our Humanist community regularly works with local Christian churches, a Jewish synagogue, a Wiccan circle, a Unitarian Universalist fellowship, and the local Islamic center on community service projects, and we all get along splendidly. No hate there, just mutual concern for our fellow man and a healthy respect for our differences.

fireball226: One reason some people might be "peeved" at you, Fireball, is that you declare any group that doesn't believe as you do a cult.

Look, man, I think you're being very prejudice and wrong. I am a Christian, and I don't feel the need to be scared of anyone. I have friends who are Jewish, Agnostic, Buddhist, and Athiest! I also have one friend who worships a big cheese wheel. But I digress.

As a Christian, it is your job to show yourself friendly. People are going to hate you. It's a fact of life. But do you think you're going to get anywhere judging them?

I think not.

For all of the people of other religions, I have nothing against you. So let us all believe what we believe and still be able to call our fellow people our brother or sister. We are all people. We just believe differently.

Of the ones I know personally, none of them are especially angry. They're nice people. They only get irritated (and wouldn't you?) when people make really bizarre assumptions about what they stand for (i.e., all Muslims are terrorists, or atheists are deluded by Satan). As a Catholic, I find constant Catholic-bashing annoying too, so I don't blame them one bit for finding such behavior bothersome. Neither atheists or Muslims scare me, and I don't think they're any angrier than any other unnecessarily maligned group.

Christians seem the angriest to me. I've never had a group of Atheists or Muslims on my front lawn praying and throwing water on my property.

Christians are the biggest bigots which makes them the worst. Of course there are alot of nice Christians, but percentage wise, they are the worst.

Look how you boast about your charitable contributions. Which charity benefits from your post on Y/A?

Looks like you are an angry christian. I'm not either muslyms (sic) or atheist, but I think I could hate you because you seem to be an ******.

You seem pretty angry to me there, Kermit. After having seen the term "Muslims" 600,000 times you STILL spell it with a "y" (Kind of disrespectful, don'tcha agree?) and you claim to be 'afraid' of atheists for no apparent reason.

Your question is totally borderline. Do you understand the term 'borderline'? It's psychologically brimming with anger and manipulation but asked in such a way as to appear normal. No one is buying it, kiddo. Better luck next time.

Don't hate you dude. Don't even know you. But your thinking is muddy and you're ill-informed. Just to show you I love you man, go to this website and learn to organize your thought process to avoid fallacies of logic. You should have to pay me for this, but I'm doing it out of love. It has the potential to mulitply you lifetime income and keep you from wasting years on nonsense.

I don't hate you...you sound like a nice person.
Do I have a problem with those who believe there's no reason to concern ourselves with managing the planets resources because some of us believe a magical rescue is forthcoming? I sure do.
Do I have a problem with those who would limit the content of entertainment and media to suit their personal morality? again, yes.
Do I resent those who question my morality, my parenting skills and/or my right to citizenship because I don't think they way they do? you bet ya.

but does any of that mean I hate Christians in general? no, it doesn't.

neither.
How on earth do muslims scare you? Besides the extremists. If you say things like this in front of them I can understand why they hate you. Every belief has its bad eggs. Just respect them and be courteous and they should do the same back.
