It can be done, but you need to decide if it is worth it. And it really depends on what he did. In my own experience, my boyfriend had cheated on me and it really hurt. I had lost all trust in him. But I decided our relationship was worth it. It took a long time to fully be able to trust him again, but 7 years of marriage and 2 kids later, we are more in love than we ever were before. And I trust him with my whole heart. It does take work. I won't promise that everything will perfect, but if you really believe that this guy that hurt you is worth the effort, Stick to it and LOVE will follow.

depends on what he did is the heartache from him... if so is the wound a gash or a machete slash? Pain takes time to heal...but some pain is never forgotten of forgiven just not mentioned

It all depends on you. If you really love him you most likely will just end up back with him. But if you do go back with him make sure you Forgive and Forget because if not you guys will always argue and it will never work out.

As the other person says well it will happen or not, don't force it. It's just mother nature telling you something. Listen to her.
