make sure you add the 1 before the area code.

I is USA's national #

Example: 1-then the 3 digits (area code)-then the actual phone number (3 digits-4digits=7 digits total).

Check to see if there is any other number that might need to go after the one before the area code.. like Mexico for example- the actual Country has a few more numbers..

Mexico City is the USA, so you should try the above and then if not call your operator and ask what the International Code is for the USA.

Dial 00 44 them omit the zero from the STD code (which I think, from memory, is 01274, so you would dial 00441274 the the 6 digit phone number). You can buy international phone cards, from your hotel or you can have a pile of local currency on hand to keep stuffing in the phone.

The above will work from a mobile, but make sure you know their roaming rates first as they can be horrendous.

The international code for the UK is 55, not 52 as someone said earlier.

Dial 011 + 52 + area code + phone number or you can call the operator and ask for assistance. If you're calling a Mx cell phone the dialing is different. I 'think' you replace the 52 with 47, but I could be wrong about the cell phone part. Sorry.
