I am cycling in a Tour de Cure (for diabetes research). I have received on-line donations from a few co-workers. What would be the best way to say thanks? Should I just simply tell them thank you or should I get some thank you cards??

Sometimes just by telling them "Thank You" is good enough. If you feel like you need to do more, send them thank you cards. Have a good time cycling ;)

thank you cards are always kind. However, if you recieve more than 50 or so, I might take an ad in the local paper and put your name and your cause and thank all who donated. It would be tacky to list them by name, I think. Most people do this because they want to help, not for the public appreciation (unless they are a politician!)

Handwritten thank you cards would be very nice.... and make it personal. Write different things in different cards pertaining to that person.

For an official organization I would think they could supply some postcards or letter head paper so that you would be able to give them an offical thanks.. something they can post on the bulletin board or frame.

I think a nice thank you card would be appropriate.

Taking the time to write out thank you cards shows more appreciation than simply saying thanks.
