If so, whats in?

The "mild" faux-hawk is still in. However, it's mainly for men with a wider face, to make them look slimmer. Skinny faces with a faux-hawk just look awkward, and the entire style itself hit its peak for about a year and it's definitely on its way out. The extreme faux-hawks will be looked back on in 20 years the same way as the Mullet is now. There are much more flattering do's than the faux-hawk. But it all depends on your facial features. Some guys look better with a long shag, some look better with a 70's style swoop, some look better with a buzz. Just go to an expensive stylist and ask them for their advice. From that point on you can maintain the style yourself without having to drop 100 bucks every time you get a trim.

i know a lot of people that still wear them, but i think they're on their way out. the big, extreme faux hawks are definitely out, but i think a tasteful, small faux-hawk can be a very flattering hair style on some men...

...and even some girls too! i cheered with a girl who wore a faux-hawk sometimes. her hair was a little shorter than jaw length and had lots of layers. sometimes she would gell it up into a messy sort of faux-hawk and it was really cute on her. surprisingly she still looked really feminine, yet edgy. i don't think most girls could pull that off though.

Alot of people still have them I wouldent say that they were out neither in. The huge ones are a little extreme though.
