I just started working @ a Mexican restaraunt & I began dating 1 of the waiters there. My parents didn't know I was dating him, but they knew who he was because his ex's mom used to work with my dad. Turns out that he's somewhat psycho. He's easily emotionally attached. His ex's mom told my dad that after they broke up(they were together for a year)he showed up at their door w/ a gun. I asked him about this & he admitted to it, but told me he was drunk at the time. I know that's not an excuse, but he promised me that he was going to quit drinking. I was already wary of him b/c he became very clingy, very quickly. w/in 3 days of dating he was already telling me that he loved me. 2 nights ago he didn't show up to work. The cops called my boss & told him that my bf had been in a drunk driving accident, he had been the drunk driver. He wrecked his car & had to spend the night in jail with a DWI charge. I've since broken up w/ him, but I'm scared that he's going 2 do something.

Oh wow....I am sure you are terrified, and my heart goes out to you.

But do not be a victim. Take control of your safety and well being. There is only one precious one of you, and you can not risk yourself.

Be aware of your surroundings. Now that you are in this, you have to see your way out of it. Be prepared to go to the authorities, and tell your loved ones everything as to not put them in harm's way as well. You will need a safety net...which includes your family, friends, and co-workers.

You have NO time to be shy or embarrassed. Given his past, it is good that you are thinking proactively. Stick with it, and don't let your guard down.

Good Luck to you!! I wish you all the best!

First tell your parents about this. Second never leave your work alone, ask your Boss to escort you to your car. When you get into your car take a minute to look in the back sets. If you see some thing that you did not put their shut the door and lock it. Run to the nearst crowded place and call the police.Remember he pulled a gun on hix exs mom house with a gun. So please keep your door locked and have some type of security device to look out and see who is their. You can contact your local security profesiionals about this.

You're scared, and with good reason. What you should do is report your concerns to your boss, your parents, and the police. You don't have to admit the whole extent of your relationship to your parents, just let them know that he formed an attachment to you; but they need to know to be on the alert. The police and your boss should definitely know that you were dating and you have broken up with him - they can keep an eye on him and protect you if comes after you. Let your boss know that you're not comfortable working with him or being alone with him, and that you'd appreciate it if someone escorted you out to your car after work (he'd be most likely to try to accost you when you're alone).

Stay safe - your parents are more concerned about your safety than your lapse in judgment in dating him.

It is so important who you get involved with. There are a lot of nut cases out there. I would have to say, be very cautious of your surroundings at all times, have someone with you to and from your car. Look around when you come and go to where you live. Keep your doors locked at all times in the car and at home. Will he be fired from his job, if not, I would advise you to move on to another place of employment. And last of all, do not give this guy any encouragement that you might get together with him again.
Let everyone you are close to...in on your concerns so they will be aware and help look out for you.

Breaking up is the smart thing to do.

Most likely he will be fired from the job if he keeps up behaving like this. If he starts harrassing you, call the cops.

It is better to break up with him now, tell him you will reconcider AFTER he straightens up and quits drinking alcohol, and tell him you have decided you are too young to be in any kind of serious relationship.
If he causes ANY problems for you, please seek professional help immediately. Get the police involved, his parents, your parents, anyone who will help you.
PROTECT YOURSELF!

Remember this , he is old enough and ugly enough to look after himself , you just look after NUMBER 1!!!!!! Yourself, we cannot punish ourselves for other peoples downfalls.
