yes in cern, saw something about it on tv the other day, think it might have a been a kids programme actually, they are still only just building the accelerator at the moment. how do i feel about it...... difficult one im really not sure i guess i dont know enough about yet plus, i think i need to think further about it. i have been thinking about it quite a lot since saw the article. i do have one immediate concern and that is the safety factor.

I have heard about this in 'New Scientist'. I am not a scientist but have a big interest in astronomy and physics, but this particular experiment raises the hair on the back of my neck. I can't help feeling that I would feel safer if this was science fiction instead of science fact. At least we could put down the book or skip a few pages if things got a little nasty.

Of course, in France. They are taking a big pile of bull-crap and getting a whole bunch of Poles to compress it to minimum mass.

I have heard about it. There are different scientific opinions about it.
If they do succeed it may create a black hole and no one knows if they can contain it , if not I guess we will just wink out.
