About 6 mths ago he and I dated for about 2 mths then he ended it. I went to a store to visit a friend who works there when he walked in. He didn't acknowledge me at first but a few mins later he came over to me, kissed me on the cheek and tried to give me a hug. It was pretty awkward. He went back to finish his purchase and I continued talking to my friend. A while later he came back and stood behind me then I felt him pressed up against me so I turned around, took his hand and invited him to have lunch with me, he said ok he would meet me at the store when it was time for him to have lunch and he went back to work. After he left my friend told me he came in a couple of times and twice he asked her about me. She didn't give him any info because she didn't know him, but she said he seemed like a really nice guy and she thinks he still has feelings for me. Her coworker also said the same thing. The thing is he never showed up for our lunch date. Does he still like me? I'm confused.

Because you said that this guy was the one who ended the relationship, I came to a realization that he'd been trying to date another girls, and eventually realized that you are alot better than them. Thus, he wants you back in his life. But he sure thinks that it'd be easy now to get you, even after he 'dumped' you. Well, my advice is.. dont make it easy for him to have you back. He could just want to 'play' with you (have woman in his life). good luck!

Yes, he still likes you. He may be afraid to express himself but he does. If you like him still call him up make that first move may he will come around.
