How do you break a terrible nail-biting habit? Not only biting, ripping them off too!!?

there is a spray that is really bitter, you spray it on your nails and it will prevent you from putting your fingers in ya mouth because of the bitter taste and no matter how much you wash your hands the taste wont come out, its not permanent just last very long.

I don't know, but if you find out, PLEASE tell me! I have a terrible habit. I DO use fake nails when I want long ones, that does give mine a chance to grow out. I'm too cheap to go to a salon so I buy the glue ons from the grocery or Walmart. They last about 2 weeks & if one pops off, I just glue it back on. I've gotten lots of compliments on how nice they look, no one can believe that they aren't from a salon. Hope that helps!

Try a clear nail polish called Hard as Nails. Put that on and it is almost impossible to bite them off. It worked for me.

Your nail is a living thing. It is full of bacteria. If you look at a piece of your nail under a high-powered microscope, it looks like worms and stuff.
That made me stop biting!

I did it by paying for very expensive sculpted nails and went in every two weeks for fills and manicure. Put that kind of money into your nails and you definitely stop biting them.

i used that gross nail biting polish, and that helped, yet extremely i made the alternative that i does no longer chew my nails anymore and that i did not!! imagine of ways a lot prettier they're even as they're lengthy. and that i do not learn about picking the polish, I easily have problem with that too!

Braces. Once your braces get tightened it hurts like #*@($& to bite them, so I quit.
