"Go" is a verb. The verb is "ir". Ir is an irregular verb, meaning it conjucates (changes subject) differently. You could look up verb conjugations on the web to find the different ways it conjugates. Here are some examples:
We will go: Iremos
You went: Fuiste
I will go: Ire
She went: Fue

To say "Go" as in you need to go because the light just turned green or whatever you would say "Ve!" (pronounced "vay")

Well I had spanish at school first lesson today, therefore i can help you...its not a simple answer but here goes anyway:

the word "VAYA" means "go"

the word "ir" means "to go"
the word "voy" means "i go"
the word "fue" means "went"

i have no idea what "ve/vete" means i think it means " it sees" but i may be wrong. I hope that clears all your confusions and different answers.

I've got a great website for you and any others who need translation or to know how to say something in another language:
http://www.worldlingo.com/en/websites/url_translator.html
It has tons of languages and is FREE. I have used it many times, both to put in another language and translate it to English and also to enter English text and have it tell me how to say it in another language.

Go = ve or vete , vaya or váyase, vayan or váyanse, id, iros.
To go = Ir
I go = voy
you go = vas, va, van, vais

Depending on the context!
