is there a way i can save something in a PDF file to microsoft word? how do i do it?

i downloaded a map from a PDF file, but i need to type the countries names in the countries and PDF doesnt let you do that, so how can i get it into word? it doesnt give me an option to save it in word.

1. Adjust the size of the PDF image on your screen and make sure it is the active window.
2. Press and hold "Alt," while then pressing the "Print Screen" key (usually near upper right of keyboard). Release.
3. Paste (Edit > Paste, or Ctrl+V) into Word.

If you want to modify the image first, do this
(1 & 2, above,then)
3. Go to Start, Run.
4. Type "mspaint" (without the quotes) into the Run dialog. Click OK.
5. Select Paste from the Edit menu in MSPaint.
6. Modify the image. Save. Add to Word doc from Insert > Picture > From File.

P.S. May also copy a portion of the PDF image (e.g., just the map) in MSPaint using the selection tool and then paste into a new image document, or directly into Word.

Sometimes if you right-click the image in the PDF file, it will allow you to copy the image. If so, just paste the image into WORD, and then edit.

You can copy it from the PDF file and paste it into Word. However, that won't solve your problem. Best to copy and paste into a graphics program that will allow you to print over the map.
