I saw all of these guys fight and they all had fast hands and excellent footwork as well. You could probably add Carl the Truth Williams to that list as well as he had very fast hands too. I believe that Ali was the fastest of all time followed by Floyd Patterson and Larry Holmes with all of these guys in the top ten as well. Good question.

They all were very fast Pedritoro Tubbs beat Page for the National championship in 1978 so both were in shape at the time they all belong in the top 10 for speed of hands Mike Tyson and Ali Floyd Patterson are the other fighters that come to mind

You've got to be kidding. Tony Tubbs caught an out of shape Greg Page at the end of his effectiveness, a fierce 21 year old Mike Tyson and aside from that, not many others.

Dokes fought Mike Weaver in 2 terrific fights, Riddick Bowe, and....Page fought an uninspired Coetzee, Tim Witherspoon, and.....nevermind.....I forget.

In their primes they were all pretty quick but none of them were as fast as a young heavyweight out of Louisville, Cassius Clay, or even Chris Byrd.

All three had good hand speed at their peak, although i would say that Dokes was the fastest of the three in my opinion. They are definitely in the top 10 or 20 Heavyweights with hand and foot speed.

Of the three, Dokes had the quickest hands, but none of them rank with history's fastest heavyweights. They had average speed for heavyweights, and any of the "greats" would have made them look ordinary.

ALL 3 OF THEM HAD FAST HANDS AND FEET. I THING PAGE GOT INTO DRUGS. I AM CERTAIN THE DOKES DID. TUBBS, I DON'T RECALL.

I DID THINK THAT PAGE AND DOKES WERE GOING TO BE BETTER THAN THEY WERE. THEY BOTH FAVORITES TO ME.

TUBBS - W 42 (KO'S 25) - TF 59 - W PCT 71% - KO PCT 42% - WINS OVER "BONECHRUSHER" SMITH, PAIGE, BIGGS AND SHELTON - KO'ED TYSON AND 4 OTHER UNKNOWN FIGHTER

PAIGE - W 58 (KO'S 48) - TF 76 - W PCT 74% - KO PCT 63% - WINS OVER YOUNG, TILLIS AND WITHERSPOON - KO'ED BY SHELDON, RUDDOCK AND SEVERAL OTHER AVERAGE FIGHTERS.
DOKES - W 53 (KO'S 33) TF 61 - W PCT 87% - KO PCT 54% - WINS OVER WEAVER, YOUNG AND COBB[2] - KO'ED BY BOWE, HOLYFIELD, RUDDOCK AND COETZEE.

IN JUST FOOT/HAND SPEED ALONE, ALL 3 WOULD RANK IN MY TOP 15 OF HYTS.

When the three of them were in condition. They had very fast hands. I'd say top ten. No where near Ali or Patterson though.
