What did you think about the fight between Randy Cotoure and Tim the "Loose skin" Sylvia??? I thought it was awesome. Tim Sylvia is garbage. In a way I think Randy saved Sylvia's life because if Tim had gone on to win and fight Mirko Cro Cop he would have gotten that ugly head of his kicked into the crowd. Which brings me to my real question; When is Mirko fighting again??? Is it going to be the UFC 69 in Houston?? If it is.....I'M GOING!!!! Hometown: Houston, Tx baby!!!!

I agree Randy will probably lose to Mirko, but it will be a better fight than if Tim the "trailer trash inbred buttf*cker" Sylvia was to fight him.

I don't think that the fight, in and of itself was all that exciting. In round 1, Randy landed the shot that dropped Sylvia, but the other 4 minutes and 30 seconds was sort of awkward in that Randy just laid there with Tim's back. I believe round 3 was the one where the stood the entire round which surprised everyone. The other three rounds consisted of Randy taking the fight down and grinding on him. Another caveat is that if it were anyone but Randy, the fight would have been stood up countless times. With all of that said, the fight was great for different reasons. There was a ton of energy at the venue and that was really felt on the PPV. Randy's history and being 43, facing a 6'8" monster was really the source of all of the excitement. I loved the fight especially when the fans counted down the last ten seconds of round 5, but if that were Ricardo Arona v. Gan Mcgee, two people that could be compared to Couture and Silvia, there would be boos coming from the crowd rather than cheers.

Many doubted Randy's return, but he proved those wrong! Randy came out aggressively yet with patience to counter. He demonstrated great skill and stamina...Cro Cop is the man, but I think Randy is capable of much right now! Coming back with a total dominant win agains the heavyweight champion after retiring is a real confidence booster! I really wont be able to pick a side for that fight...they're both great!

I'm glad Randy won and thought Tim was getting lazy. He was so worried about loosing the belt that he wasn't defending it. I don't think Randy can handle Cro Cop though, but I guess we'll see who wins between the grappler learning to box or the kickboxer with some powerful high kicks.

why do you and many others still believe that mirko cro cop will beat randy couture?yes I've sean all mirkos fights but have we not learned nothing.randy can pull big upsets not that beating Tim was a upset but not that many people thought he could pull it off.

CroCop is fighting at UFC 70 in England and will destroy Gabriel Gonzaga. The winner of this fight will get a shot at the title - Dana White said this in a Sherdog interview. So instead of Tim getting killed by CroCop, Randy will get the wrath of a left high kick.

I was very disappointed with Tim Sylvia's performance, and Cro-Cop would have hurt him bad if he would of been in the Octagon with him.
